Safeguarding

Our school is absolutely committed to safeguarding children in our care. Along with all schools, we have an important part to play.

Ofsted Report

Pupils and staff agree that this is a happy and welcoming school. The pupils told us that they enjoy school. They described their teachers as kind and helpful. Staff provide a wide range of support to ensure that pupils achieve well. In 2019 at the end of key stage 2, pupils’ attainment in reading, writing and mathematics was higher than that of pupils nationally.

SEND

Staff and governors of St Mary’s RC Primary School wish to work co-operatively with parents and other members of the community to ensure the school provides a high quality of service.

Governors

Our Governing body is very supportive and pro-active. The school also enjoys a close partnership with Father Richard Howard and St Mary's Parish in Horwich.
