PE Long Term Plan
At St. Mary’s we take part in competitions within our cluster and Bolton along with cluster festivals to encourage our children to take part in as much physical activity as possible and give our children these opportunities to build confidence, resilience and self belief.
We strive to give our children the best enrichment in physical education here at St. Mary’s and use our local high school’s facilities to support our PE lessons.
We love to provide a wide selection of sports clubs for our children from all age groups after school.”

Congratulation to our year 5/6 athletics team who came first at the 2024 athletics competition in the Horwich and Blackrod cluster.
A huge congratulations this year to our girls as they are the cross country champions of Bolton 2024.
Well done to our boys team for achieving 6th place.
